Posted on Nov 1, 2021 12:10 PM. On your iPhone, open the Shortcuts app. Tap on the Automation tab at the bottom of your screen. Tap on Create Personal Automation. Scroll down and select NFC. Tap on Scan. Put your iPhone near the NFC tag. Enter a name for your tag. Tap on Add Action.

Even though your Apple ID might be protected by 2-Factor Authentications, all you need to access Find My Device service at iCloud.com is your Apple ID and password. This said, it looks like someone knew or guess your Apple ID and password. Changing the password was the right decision.

The FindMy app doesn’t automatically sync after you update to iOS 15. Although the app loads and seems to work fine the “live” feature doesn’t automatically go active. in order to get this working you manually have to REMOVE all your contacts from the map. And stop sharing your location. Restart your phone.

So, I logged into iCloud, and I can't remember if I enabled Find My at that time. I didn't feel safe, so I logged out of the ID that was given to me (it wasn't my friend's, but rather someone they borrowed it from to download games). To gain access to Find My iPhone and other iCloud features, set up iCloud on your iOS device or Mac. Click All Devices, select the offline device, then click Remove from Account.
